Just 1,815 Z4 M Coupes were produced for the North American market between 2006 and 2008, and this example is one of approximately 592 examples finished in Black Sapphire Metallic. Exterior details include xenon headlights with concealed washers as well as rain-sensing windshield wipers, black kidney grilles, Bavarian AutoSport front bumper protection plates, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, and tinted lighting, emblems, and reflectors.
The 18″ Style 224M alloy wheels feature M valve caps and tinted center caps, and they wear 225/45 front and 255/40 rear Michelin tires that were mounted in preparation for the sale. Braking is handled by aftermarket caliper covers over ventilated and cross-drilled rotors at each corner, and the Z4 M was equipped with a revised steering rack sourced from the contemporary M3 CSL. A front strut brace has been fitted, and the brake fluid was flushed in October 2023. The Continental tires shown in the gallery have since been replaced.
The cabin features black Nappa leather upholstery covering the power-adjustable sport seats. The Premium Package added Bluetooth connectivity and a premium sound system. Carbon Structure leather trim accents the dashboard and center console, and additional appointments include a backlit shift knob, automatic climate control, cruise control, bright pedals, a BMW Business CD stereo, and M-branded floor mats.
The multifunction leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a 190-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 15k miles, approximately 4k of which were added during current ownership.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six features individual throttle bodies and double-VANOS variable valve timing. Output was rated at 330 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque when new. An aftermarket oil cap has been installed, the battery was replaced and a coolant flush was carried out in October 2023, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. AC Schnitzer mufflers and exhaust tips have been installed, and work in October 2023 included replacing the differential and transmission fluids.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage.
